Welcome to DesiLassi! (Oh how much I wish I had those wonderful 'prayer' videos which appear at the begining of every movie! No wait, maybe we can get those videos for you on DesiLassi
We're sure you've enjoyed the 'trial' post. It wasn't really 'trying' for Nirav to write that post, but then he 'tried', maybe that is why he called it the 'trial' post.
Bad jokes aside(and you'll see many more of these in the coming posts) , this blog is an attempt to provide you with some more juice(lassi did we say?!) on the happenings at DesiLassi , our efforts in bringing Bollywood closer to you, and over a period of time provide you with a complete desi feeling.
Now for the questions - why the name DesiLassi? When we wondered ourselves about the reasons behind naming our entertainment venture DesiLassi, we realized that there could never be a tastier American Lassi or a Swiss Lassi, or for that matter a Hungarian Lassi. Lassi evokes that special desi feeling in us , and Bollywood definitely quenches our thirst for entertainment. So when you put one and one together, you get eleven and the name DesiLassi. One and one eleven? Don't believe us? This is what Govinda and Sanjay Dutt have to say. In fact, I didn't know that the movie had the punchline - by hook or by crook. You can definitely look forward to discover more trivia like this one on this blog and on DesiLassi. Entertaining you is of 'paramount' importance to us. By hook or by crook? Not at all, we've obtained the rights to the videos on DesiLassi and we are yaabsolootley legal.
As of now we have about nearly sixty videos online which we're sure you'll love to watch. More content, more features are definitely in the pipeline, provided the water supply department clears those pipes. The coming posts will elaborate on the features on DesiLassi, our aims, our team and contain some more bad jokes. But then I'm not the one to be blamed for the bad jokes, because I work for DesiLassi and DesiLassi is based on Bollywood content. So while Bollywood gets inspired by Hollywood and other woods, I get inspired by Bollywood!
PS. Don't blame me. I already told you this was going to be a very boring post. Instead enjoy the videos on DesiLassi!
