Taaza DesiLassi... Malai Marke !!

My Dear DesiLassi Fans,

Let’s start with a confession: “We have been lazy when it comes to updating our blog!” But hey, you can’t say the same when it comes to updating our website; I am sure all of you have noticed the stylish new look and all the exciting new content and features that we have added to our much loved DesiLassi over the past 3 months.

Here are some of the latest attractions:

1) Revamped Website: We have given DesiLassi a facelift with a brand new user -interface and a whole range of exciting new sections and features. You really have to experience this to understand why we are bragging so much… Click here to check it out and then let us know what you think.

2) 8 more Indian Languages: DesiLassi has now moved a step further from providing only Hindi movies’ songs & lyrics to content in 8 more Indian languages. I think we will show off a little bit here and enumerate all the languages we have now:

5.Kannada
6.Gujarati
7.Bengali
8.Punjabi
9.Oriya

Just a quick note: Since we have just begun adding content in the above listed languages, lyrics’ files for some songs might not be available but we are working to make everything available for you in the coming weeks. All you have to do is stay-tuned at DesiLassi!! You will also notice a vast majority of the songs will be only 30 secs in length. Well, it’s because we don’t have the copyrights for the same as yet. But as and when we receive them, we will replace the 30 sec clips with full songs :)

3) Add as favorites: Nothing like having all your favorite songs separate and play them whenever you want without having to look for them again… so based on popular demand, we have added this option to all the songs, trailers, promos and albums at DesiLassi. So now just click the “heart” icon to add the particular song to your favorites list.

4) Playlist: Another feature which was requested by many is to simply choose multiple videos then have them playing one after the other. You will be happy to note we have implemented this feature too. So just choose your videos, stretch your legs, lean back and enjoy them playing one by one just for you!

Dear DesiLassi Fans,

With the coming of March, we know we are in for a very hot season in India ! And DesiLassi is going to crank up the temperature too, so be ready for the hottest summer ever ;-) Here are the latest goodies we bring your way:

The first thing you will notice, if you are a regular DesiLassi visitor, is that we have redesigned the main page. Earlier, it had only songs and you had the same songs loading again and again. Though we kept adding new content all the time, our index page was pretty much the same! Now, following the public demand, we have given it a makeover. Instead of only songs you’ll find sizzling trailers and promos on our home page. And all of this changes each time you refresh the page !

And here are the new trailers we have added:

We will be adding more than 500 lyrics from popular old and new film songs in the next couple of weeks on DesiLassi !!

Valentine masala at DesiLassi !!

Dear DesiLassi Fans,

Its exactly two weeks since I declared this Blog to be alive (and promised some biweekly masala!) and to keep up with my promise, here I am (in phata poster nikla hero style ;-)! I will reveal some of the latest happenings at DesiLassi.

If you chanced upon our website a couple of days before Valentine’s Day, you would have found that we had (and still have) a link on the right hand corner of our website called “Send Valentine video cards”. Clicking on this link sweeps you away from the familiar orange and green surroundings of DesiLassi and takes you to one very very rosy (in other words a super romantic) corner of DesiLassi. This is our way of supporting people in love (half the world is in love, the other half is single and jealous of the other half!). So, lovers young and old, flock to this section and send your better half some video cards. They are romantic, charming, unique and most importantly FREE (he heee… yes, I love that word too!). And hey, did I mention that you can write a personal message too with this video card ?!

DesiLassi Secret1: We plan to have such video cards for all occasions. So remember to check on DesiLassi for all those special moments like Friendship Day, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Teacher’s Day etc…

DesiLassi Secret 2: Looking at the success of the two sections (Polls and Bollywood Masala), we have decided to update those sections twice every week! So, visit DesiLassi often and participate ekdam dilse in our Polls and read our Bollywood Masala and increase your Bollywood Gyaan…
